This treatment is great for minimizing fine lines, dark spots, and acne scarring, as well as making your skin's surface more smooth by removing the dead skin cells and vellus hair (thin, fine hair) and is completely painless. Dermaplaning enhances skin care regimes by providing a deep exfoliation and allowing products to penetrate into the skin deeper. Dermaplaning should be done every 4 weeks to see and feel the full benefits. Please note: your hair will not grow back thicker or darker as this treatment only exfoliates vellus from the surface of the skin. Vellus hair is a completely different type of hair follicle than terminal hair.
